Logan Elm had lost 13 games on the road dating back to last season, but after bumping their record up to 5-17 on Monday that streak is in the rearview. They came out on top against the Washington Blue Lions by a score of 6-1. The game was the first time the Braves have beaten the Blue Lions on their field since May 14, 2015.

As for Washington, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the losses came by an average of only two runs.

For Washington's part, Cooper Robertson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Will Miller, who went 1-for-3 with two runs.

Coming up, Logan Elm will square off against Fairfield Union at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Braves' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Falcons have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season. Washington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
