Soccer Recap: Burke Triumphs

Burke kept a clean sheet against Spencerville Adventist Academy on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Hornets, sneaking past 1-0. Burke wouldn't have won without Marli Norman, who scored the game-winner.

Burke's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Burke will face off against Brookewood at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Spencerville Adventist Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Field at 3:30 p.m. on October 9.
