Basketball Game Preview: Mission Vista vs. San Dieguito Academy Mustangs

Mission Vista is on a four-game streak of home losses, San Dieguito Academy an 11-game streak of away losses dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Wednesday. Mission Vista will host the San Dieguito Academy Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. Mission Vista has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Last Friday, Mission Vista came up short against Canyon Crest Academy and fell 70-60. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Wednesday (57), Mission Vista still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 112-35, which was the final score in San Dieguito Academy's tilt against Sage Creek on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1222nd, while the Bobcats are ranked 186th).

Mission Vista's defeat dropped their record down to 4-19. As for San Dieguito Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-17.
