Football Recap: Cane Bay Comes Up Short

Cane Bay lost against White Knoll back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cobras lost 34-10 to the Timberwolves. While losing is never fun, the Cobras can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 65th, while the Timberwolves are ranked 15th).

This is the second loss in a row for Cane Bay and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for White Knoll, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cane Bay will head out to take on Myrtle Beach at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Cobras will be up against the Seahawks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 44.5 points per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for White Knoll, they will challenge Fort Dorchester at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Timberwolves will be up against the Patriots' rather soft defense (which has allowed 35.25 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
