Softball Game Preview: Crescent City Christian Pioneers vs. Varnado Wildcats

The Crescent City Christian Pioneers will head out on the road to square off against the Varnado Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Crescent City Christian comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Crescent City Christian lost 20-5 to East Jefferson on Thursday.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Varnado). Everything went their way against Abramson on Wednesday as Varnado made off with an 18-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Crescent City Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Varnado, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Crescent City Christian might still be hurting after the 19-4 loss they got from Varnado in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can Crescent City Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
