Beacon Academy took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They came out on top against Wolcott College Prep by a score of 2-0. The victory continues a trend for the Trailblazers in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won four in a row.

Beacon Academy never let Wolcott College Prep on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Lycee Francais de Chicago waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Dragons.

Lycee Francais de Chicago pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Beacon Academy, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
