Soccer Game Preview: Sun Valley Community vs. Wendell + Official Tickets

The Sun Valley Community Cutthroats will head out on the road to face off against the Wendell Trojans at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Wendell will be up against a hot Sun Valley Community team: the squad just extended their winning streak to seven. The Cutthroats' defense stepped up to hand Gooding a 3-0 shutout on Tuesday. Sun Valley Community's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four contests.

They hit Gooding with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Hunter Nelson, Chris Arenas, and Tommy Hovey.

Meanwhile, Wendell made easy work of Bliss on Tuesday and carried off a 9-0 victory.

Sun Valley Community's win bumped their record up to 14-2-2. As for Wendell, their victory bumped their record up to 15-1-2.
