Baseball Recap: Montgomery County Falls to St. Louis Homeschool P in First Game of Season

Montgomery County had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the St. Louis HomeSchool P Patriots by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 11-5 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

St. Louis HomeSchool P moved to 2-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Montgomery County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-4 victory against St. Charles on the 22nd. As for St. Louis HomeSchool P, they have also already played their next match, a 12-1 defeat against Valley Park on the 22nd.
