Baseball Recap: Fort Knox Eagles vs. North Hardin Trojans

Fort Knox extended their losing streak to five on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 4-15 in the process. They came up short against the North Hardin Trojans, falling 13-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-3 back in April.

As for North Hardin, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-15 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games.

For North Hardin's part, they got a massive performance out of Thomas Lirot, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That triple was Lirot's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Colin Hamilton, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
