Baseball Recap: Fairfax HomeSchool Comes Up Short

Fairfax HomeSchool came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Wake County HomeSchool Warriors, falling 9-1. The Hawks have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Fairfax HomeSchool's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12-1. As for Wake County HomeSchool, their win bumped their record up to 20-8.

Looking ahead, Fairfax HomeSchool will host Southern Maryland Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on May 7. As for Wake County HomeSchool, they will head out on the road to face off against Mansfield Homeschool at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Warriors 3.8, the Knights 2.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.
