Soccer Recap: Harper Creek's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak at Home

Harper Creek was the 1-0 winner over Western when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Beavers fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday.

Harper Creek's loss ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-5. As for Western, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-1-7 record this season.

Harper Creek and Western should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Beavers will take on Central at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (118 vs. 275). Meanwhile, Western (ranked 110th) will meet Lincoln (ranked 435th) at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
