Basketball Recap: Edison Comes Up Short

Edison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a 49-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mourning Sharks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red Raiders of the 0-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Edison's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Mourning, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Edison will take on MAST Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Red Raiders will need to watch out since the Makos have now posted at least 55 points in their last three contests. As for Mourning, they will challenge JC Bermudez Doral at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
