Lamar extended the longest winning streak in A Region III this week by beating St. Joseph's Catholic, 47-7. The win marks eighth in a row for the the Silver Foxes.
Lamar made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,623 from 4,487. The advance stemmed from a 47-7 victory over the Knights last week.
So far this year, Michael Knox has thrown for 1,804 yards with 13 touchdowns and 7 interceptions.
Jr Boyd's team led the league in scoring this week by notching 47 points on St. Joseph's Catholic.
