Basketball Recap: Tampa Bay Tech Takes a Loss

Tampa Bay Tech's tournament run continued when they took on Lake Wales on Saturday. The Tampa Bay Tech Titans lost 57-35 to the Lake Wales Highlanders. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Tampa Bay Tech lost, don't look at Romeo Roberts. Despite the final result, he went 5 for 12 on his way to 17 points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Jaylen Norwood, who posted five points.

Bradley Auguste had a dynamite game for Lake Wales, dropping a double-double on ten points and 19 rebounds. Those 19 boards gave Auguste a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Siled Morris, who put up 12 points and seven rebounds.

Tampa Bay Tech's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Lake Wales, their victory bumped their record up to 8-10.

Tampa Bay Tech didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 46-42 win against Alonso on the 21st. As for Lake Wales, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 64-41 victory against IMG Academy Silver on the 21st.
