Soccer Game Preview: Swansboro vs. Richlands

The Swansboro Pirates will head out to take on the Richlands Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Swansboro is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against West Carteret on Tuesday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last match, Richlands made sure to put some goals up on the board against Northside - Jacksonville on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Monarchs with a sharp 4-1 win. Considering Richlands have won nine contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Isaiah Betton and Omar Rodriguez Aguirre scored all four of Richlands' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 54 goals.

Richlands has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-2-2 record this season. Swansboro's draw makes their record 5-13-1 this season.
