Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Janele Macclements and Sasha ' Brownlee Lead Westerville South to Victory

It was a classic North v. South duel when Westerville South took on Westerville North on Thursday. The Wildcats walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Warriors. The win was some much needed relief for the Wildcats as it spelled an end to their four-match losing streak.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-17, 20-25, 25-20.

Leading Westerville South to victory were Sasha ` Brownlee and Janele MacClements. Brownlee had 12 digs and three aces, while MacClements had eight digs and two aces. MacClements has been hot, having also posted 12 or more assists the last eight times she's played.

Westerville South now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Westerville North, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.
