With a playoff win on the line, White River rose to the challenge on Tuesday. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 57-56 victory over the Edgemont Moguls. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Tigers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

When it comes to explaining why Edgemont lost, don't look at Hadley Hollenbeck. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double with 29 points and 24 rebounds. With that strong performance, Hollenbeck is now averaging an impressive 15.5 points per game. Another player making a difference was Allie Brunson, who posted six points and 11 boards.

White River's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Edgemont, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-6.

White River didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 67-45 loss against Bennett County on the 27th. Edgemont does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
