Football Recap: Curry Comes Up Short

After flying high against Carbon Hill last Friday, Curry came back down to earth. The Yellowjackets had to suffer through a 44-7 loss at the hands of the Cold Springs Eagles. The defeat continues a trend for the Yellowjackets in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost four in a row.

Curry's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Cold Springs, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Curry and Cold Springs will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Yellowjackets are set to take on their familiar foe Haleyville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Cold Springs will square off against rival Susan Moore at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
