Volleyball Recap: Burncoat Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Burncoat barely beat North the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Patriots were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Polar Bears on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 last Friday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-15, 25-15.

Jayden Mott paced Burncoat's offense, picking up 17 kills. Mott got some help from Kevin Rojas and his 16 assists. Rojas was also solid from the service line: he led the team with six aces.

Burncoat's win ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3. As for North, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
