Baseball Game Preview: Foundation Academy Lions vs. Gateway Panthers

The Foundation Academy Lions will square off against the Gateway Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Tuesday, Foundation Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Boone and fell 5-4.

Foundation Academy got a good showing from Adam Glatthorn, who tossed 2.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off one hit.

At the plate, Foundation Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Charlie Capozzoli, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, Gateway didn't have quite enough to beat Innovation on Tuesday and fell 2-1.
