Baseball Game Preview: Berkeley Stags vs. Wando Warriors

For the second straight game, Berkeley will face off against Wando. The Stags will head out on the road to challenge the Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Berkeley will head out to face Wando after giving up their first home loss of the season on Wednesday. The Stags fell 6-1 to the Warriors. The Stags have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For Wando's part, Matthew Ogrzewalla spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up six Ks. The Warriors are undefeated when Ogrzewalla allows one or fewer earned runs, but 5-6 otherwise.

At the plate, Corbin Martens was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run and one stolen base. Caleb Anderson also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Berkeley's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Wando, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-6.
