Bishop Moore's and Winter Springs's game on Monday was close at halftime, but Bishop Moore turned on the heat in the second half with four goals. The Bishop Moore Hornets were the clear victor by a 5-0 margin over the Winter Springs Bears. Considering the Hornets have won six matches by more than three goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Winter Springs with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Marco Acevedo (2), Jake Raymond, John Gardner, and David Quintero.

Bishop Moore has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 31 goals over those six games. As for Winter Springs, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 7-1-1.
