Baseball Recap: Bishop Union Finds Home Field Redemption Against Boron

There's no place like home for Bishop Union, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top against the Boron Bobcats by a score of 8-4 on Friday. The Broncos have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bobcats, too.

Reuben Nicholson was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. He has become a key player for Bishop Union: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 2-3 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Mike Trejo, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Bishop Union's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3. As for Boron, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-4 record.
