Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory lost against Sanger back in May of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Fightin' Irish fell just short of the Apaches by a score of 2-1. The Fightin' Irish's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory's defeat dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Sanger, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-6 record this season.
