Softball Recap: Booker Comes Up Short

After flying high against Follett last Monday, Booker came back down to earth. The Kiowas fell just short of the Sunray Bobcats by a score of 20-19 on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Kiowas in their meetings with the Bobcats: they've now lost seven in a row.

Booker's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Sunray, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-3.

Coming up, Booker is taking a road trip to take on Highland Park at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sunray, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 13-12 win against Sanford-Fritch on the 8th.
