On Thursday Eastern Christian HomeSchool's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the John Paul II Catholic Saints. While the Trailblazers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Eastern Christian HomeSchool's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for John Paul II Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Coming up, Eastern Christian HomeSchool will square off against Martin County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for John Paul II Catholic, they will challenge Bear Grass Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. John Paul II Catholic is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.9 runs per game this season.
