Cherokee hasn't had much luck against Murphy recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Braves will welcome the Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m.

Friday just wasn't the day for Cherokee's offense. They fell just short of Highlands by a score of 1-0 two weeks ago.

Meanwhile, Murphy came tearing into Tuesday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.3 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Bobcats get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory. Murphy might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by three goals or more this season.

Murphy's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Cherokee, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6-1.
