Softball Preview: Harding Raiders vs. LaBrae Vikings

The Harding Raiders will be playing in front of their home fans against the LaBrae Vikings at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. LaBrae took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Harding, who comes in off a win.

Harding gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They put the hurt on Cardinal Mooney with a sharp 13-3 win.

Karly Trisler spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on six hits and racked up seven Ks.

At the plate, Harding got a massive performance out of Ky'Ziya Minor, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Azarriah Phillips was another key contributor, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and a triple.

Thankfully for Harding, Kristin Saner (who tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits) won't be suiting up this time.
