Basketball Game Preview: Pasadena Eagles vs. Montgomery Bears

The Pasadena Eagles will take on the Montgomery Bears at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pasadena has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the 11th.

Pasadena fought the good fight in their overtime game against Galena Park on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 43-42 to the Yellowjackets.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Montgomery over Benjamin Davis in every quarter on their way to victory on Monday. The Bears blew past the Falcons 55-33. The Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 22 points or more this season.

Montgomery's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Pasadena, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.

Pasadena suffered a grim 51-28 defeat to Montgomery when the teams last played on November 7th. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
