The Royal Highlanders will take on the San Marino Titans at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last five games Royal has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Royal is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering El Segundo just ended the team's 12-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 7-6.

Royal got a good showing from Jonah Thompson, who tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, Thompson posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in February.
At the plate, Ethan Hall was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. Peyton Visage was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-5.
Meanwhile, San Marino waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Tigers get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. The game snapped a strange streak: the last three times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.
Tom?s Bilvado made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
Bilvado wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Chase Mena, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
San Marino hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South Pasadena struck out 11 times.
San Marino pushed their record up to 12-3 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Royal, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-2.
Royal came up short against San Marino in their previous matchup back in March of 2023, falling 5-0. Will Royal have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other baseball content.
