Baseball Recap: Marshfield Comes Up Short

Marshfield was the 5-1 winner over Plymouth South when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Rams fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that the Rams have lost by just one run.

Marshfield dropped their record down to 3-12 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Plymouth South, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-7.

Looking ahead, Marshfield will look to defend their home field on Monday against Hingham at 4:00 p.m. As for Plymouth South, they will venture away from home to take on Hanover at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
