Football Game Preview: D.H. Conley Vikings vs. Jacksonville Cardinals

Two dominant backs in Elijah Taft and Amari Pearson are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The D.H. Conley Vikings are taking a road trip to challenge the Jacksonville Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as D.H. Conley comes in on four and Jacksonville on seven.

On Friday, D.H. Conley earned a 34-25 victory over New Bern.

Meanwhile, Jacksonville got the win against South Central on Friday by a conclusive 28-7. Considering the Cardinals have won four contests by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

D.H. Conley better keep an eye on Josiah Benton. He was instrumental in Jacksonville's win, picking up 22 receiving yards and one touchdown, while also rushing for 45 yards. Benton also passed for 18 passing yards, marking his first of the season.

D.H. Conley's record now sits at 6-2. As for Jacksonville, their record is now 7-0.

D.H. Conley lost to Jacksonville on the road by a decisive 62-43 margin when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Thankfully for the Vikings, Demon June (who rushed for 407 yards and six scores while picking up 17.7 yards per carry) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
