Volleyball Recap: Maricopa Has No Trouble Against Notre Dame Prep

Maricopa won the last time they faced Notre Dame Prep and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Rams were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Saints. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rams.

One reason for the win was Maricopa's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-16, 25-10.

Gensis Abon was a one-man wrecking crew as he had seven digs and five aces. That's the most aces he has posted since back in March.

Maricopa's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Notre Dame Prep, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Maricopa will face off against rival Arizona College Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Notre Dame Prep is set to square off against their familiar foe Campo Verde at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
