Volleyball Recap: Academy at Palumbo Takes a Loss

Academy at Palumbo lost against Lansdale Catholic back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Griffin lost 3-0 to the Crusaders. The Griffin have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Academy at Palumbo was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-16, 25-17.

Kingston Insixiengmay paced Academy at Palumbo's offense, picking up ten kills. Insixiengmay got some help from Andy Le and his 22 assists. Yinle Chen controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Academy at Palumbo's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Lansdale Catholic, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Academy at Palumbo nor Lansdale Catholic have any future games scheduled.
