Fuquay - Varina is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game two weeks ago. They lost 81-61 to Cleveland. While losing is never fun, the Bengals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 350th, while the Rams are ranked 48th).

Black is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Beckett Coon, who posted 19 points.

Meanwhile, Southeast Raleigh unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 75-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of Wayne Country Day.

Southeast Raleigh's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Fuquay - Varina, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.
