Southmont lost against Lebanon back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Southmont Mounties fell 65-56 to the Lebanon Tigers.

Lebanon had a senior duo take command as Jack Ferrell went 8 of 12 en route to 20 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals and Kaden Lark dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ferrell has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryce Jones, who put up six points.

Southmont's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 10-4. As for Lebanon, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-4.

Southmont will face off against Tri-West Hendricks at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Tri-West Hendricks will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Southmont surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lebanon, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 51-38 loss against Plainfield on the 1st.
