Kinston had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Florala Wildcats. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Kinston won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-6, 25-14.
