Baseball Game Preview: Venture Academy Mustangs vs. West Wolfpack

The Venture Academy Mustangs will head out on the road to square off against the West Wolfpack at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Venture Academy came up short against Galt on Thursday, falling 11-4.

Tanner Gantt stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: he went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Piper, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Meanwhile, West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 13-0 to Edison. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Wolfpack were not able to get on the board.

West saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Armstrong, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases.

West's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Venture Academy, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Everything went Venture Academy's way against West in their previous matchup back in March of 2025, as Venture Academy made off with an 11-3 victory. Do the Mustangs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wolfpack turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
