Soccer Recap: Palatka Takes a Loss

Palatka was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 4-0 to the Interlachen Rams. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rams earlier this season, when they won 4-1.

Palatka's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Interlachen, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palatka will venture away from home to square off against Eastside at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Eastside's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Interlachen, they will head out to take on Umatilla at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
