Basketball Game Preview: Swansea Tigers vs. Silver Bluff Bulldogs

The Swansea Tigers just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Silver Bluff Bulldogs at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Swansea is looking for their season's first victory.

On Friday, Swansea had to suffer through a 103-40 loss at the hands of Fox Creek. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 288th, while the Predators are ranked 72nd).

Meanwhile, Silver Bluff played a tough game last Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Keenan, falling 67-38. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Swansea will need focus on slowing down Zean Dicks, one of several Silver Bluff players who made an impact when they last played. He posted seven points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Williams, who had eight points and 12 boards.

Swansea's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Silver Bluff, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-6.
