Baseball Recap: Parklane Academy Comes Up Short

Parklane Academy lost against Columbia Academy last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Pioneers lost 10-3 to the Cougars. The Pioneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Parklane Academy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nick Young, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Parklane Academy's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Columbia Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Columbia Academy beat Parklane Academy by a score of 11-1 later that day.
