Basketball Game Preview: Hebron Hawks vs. Lewisville Farmers

Hebron is on a three-game streak of home losses, Lewisville a four-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Friday. The Hebron Hawks will welcome the Lewisville Farmers at 12:00 p.m.

Hebron saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 48-35 to Judson. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 228th, while the Rockets are ranked tenth).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lewisville). They breezed by Midlothian to the tune of 73-42 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Farmers have posted since November 3, 2023.

Hebron's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Lewisville, their victory bumped their record up to 13-10.

Everything came up roses for Hebron against Lewisville in their previous matchup back in January, as the team secured a 72-44 win. Will Hebron repeat their success, or does Lewisville have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
