The Riesel Indians will play host again on Tuesday to welcome Mount Calm, where the match is scheduled at 5:00 p.m. Mount Calm took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Riesel, who comes in off a win.
On Friday, everything went Riesel's way against Jonesboro as Riesel made off with a 3-0 win.
While Riesel might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Jonesboro scored at least points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-16, 25-13.
Meanwhile, Mount Calm was not able to break out of their rough patch last Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to Oglesby.
The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-12, 25-17.
Riesel has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 14-19 record this season. As for Mount Calm, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
