Softball Recap: Manchester Falls Short of Rochester in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Manchester can now relate to. They came up short against the Rochester Zebras on Thursday, falling 16-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Squires have suffered since May 10th.

Manchester saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hadley West, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

With the defeat, Manchester broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-15. As for Rochester, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 21-4.
