On Saturday, Calvary Chapel got the W thanks in part to Joshua Lennear playing the best football he has all season. Lennear rushed for 154 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.6 yards per carry, and also picked up 38 receiving yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He didn't just play on offense: he also made a tackle and defended a pass in addition to snagging two interceptions which he returned for a touchdown.
Lennear and Calvary Chapel will square off against Cornerstone Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lennear will face off against Dylan Kelly, the Crusaders' star QB. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
