Softball Recap: Gateway Charter Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Gateway Charter's offense. They came up short against the Lely Trojans on Tuesday, falling 13-0. The Griffins just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Gateway Charter's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Lely, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-13 record.

Looking ahead, Gateway Charter will be playing in front of their home fans against Oasis at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Griffins' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Sharks have averaged an impressive 8.9 runs per game this season. As for Lely, they will head out to take on Dunbar at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
