Basketball Game Preview: Tri-West Hendricks Bruins vs. North Central Thunderbirds

The Tri-West Hendricks Bruins and the North Central Thunderbirds will round out the year against one another at at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. Tri-West Hendricks is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 64.8 points per game this season.

Last Friday, Tri-West Hendricks came up short against Lafayette Jefferson and fell 55-44. The Bruins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, Tri-West Hendricks had strong showings from Caden Murphy, who posted eight points, and Ryan Miller, who had seven points. The dominant performance also gave Murphy a new career-high in boards (two). Another player making a difference was Amare Blakely, who earned six points.

Meanwhile, North Central also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Marshall by a score of 58-51.

Tri-West Hendricks' loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for North Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Tri-West Hendricks strolled past North Central in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 by a score of 64-45. Will Tri-West Hendricks repeat their success, or does North Central have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
