Soccer Recap: Highland Comes Up Short

Highland lost against Father McGivney Catholic back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Griffins, falling 4-0. Evan Feeny was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Highland's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Father McGivney Catholic, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Coming up, Highland is taking a road trip to take on Charleston at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Highland will be up against Charleston's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.13 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Father McGivney Catholic, they will welcome Maryville Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
