Sherman Oaks CES has gone a perfect 3-0 against Lake Balboa College Prep recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Knights will challenge the Cougars at 9:00 a.m. Sherman Oaks CES will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

Sherman Oaks CES proved they can win big on Monday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a set and slipped past Vaughn 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Knights have posted since August 18th.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Sherman Oaks CES who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 15-25, 25-14, 22-25, 15-5.

Meanwhile, Lake Balboa College Prep beat Discovery 3-1 on Friday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 17-25, 25-18, 25-9.

Sherman Oaks CES better keep an eye on Lina Matevosyan. She was instrumental in Lake Balboa College Prep's win, getting nine digs. That's the most digs Matevosyan has posted since back in September.

Lake Balboa College Prep was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 28 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 14 aces in three consecutive matchups.
