While Cabrini's victory against St. Scholastica wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Crescents sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over the Doves on Monday. The victory was familiar territory for the Crescents, who have now won four games in a row.

Makayla Richoux was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up three earned runs off ten hits. Richoux was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

In other batting news, Gabriella Goodick was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Piper Schaub, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI.

Cabrini hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. Scholastica struck out seven times.
